November is National Novel Writing Month... NaNoWriMo!
The NaNoWriMo organization is a nonprofit that provides tools, structure, community, and encouragement to help people find their voices, achieve creative goals, and build new worlds — on and off the page. Writing a novel alone can be difficult, even for seasoned writers. NaNoWriMo helps you track your progress, set milestones, connect with other writers in a vast community, and participate in events that are designed to make sure you finish your novel. Oh, and best of all, it’s free! NATIONAL NOVEL WRITING MONTH HAS A PLACE @ OCEANSIDE LIBRARY! On Thursdays, November 7, 14, 21, from 7:00p.m.- 8:00 p.m. write among others, talk about new projects and feel inspired! We will have a station to register for NaNoWriMo on their website. For more information on this initiative visit www.nanowrimo.org or click the button below. "Smart, darkly funny, and life-affirming, How Not to Die Alone is the bighearted debut novel we all need, for fans of Eleanor Oliphant Is Completely Fine, it's a story about love, loneliness, and the importance of taking a chance when we feel we have the most to lose."
Check out your copy today and join us for our next online book discussion Wednesday November 6 at 7:30pm. Go to our Facebook page, All About Books, for the link to the chat room. We'll see you there! Happy Reading! |
